Silver mounted shin-shinto daisho
A late 18th-19th century silver mounted shin-shinto daisho. I’ve posted the detail of the tsuba back in Februari. I really love the saya of both pieces here. It looks like hills (katana) and waves (wakizashi). These daisho was sold for a little more than €30.000 – $41.000

Think i’ve never seen a plum blossom & dragon mixed into 1 horimono before… a bit too ‘busy’ for my taste but it’s a piece of art, that’s for sure The very nice Koshirae of this daisho can be seen here. Samurai Sword Shop Info CenterUSA dave@samurai-sword-shop.com00
