Rain Lily (zephyranthes candida): This appears to a rain lily. There are also a number of South American rain lilies in the genus Zephyranthes that are commonly grown. All have the habit of arising after a significant rain in the summer or fall. Flowers open in the early morning, then flatten out by midday, and close in late afternoon. Provide full sun to partial shade with average watering. Plant in a well draining, rich soil medium
