Our world has an uncanny fascination with endings. Think about it. We watch a two hour movie through the end, always holding the way it ends to be the determinant of how good or bad the entire movie was. The ending always dictates the entirety. We rarely walk away mid way through a movie feeling fulfilled. The problem with real life, though, is endings are not always so pleasant- a loved one passes away unexpectantly leaving on bad terms, an intimate relationship ends...

This is so absolutely true.  People can say all of the right things but sadly they can be lying through their teeth.  This is especially painful when someone claims they "have your back" and then stabs you.  Yes-actions speak much louder than words...
