4.1 Harmotome (Hydrated Barium Potassium Aluminum Silicate) - Twinned harmotome crystals Andreasberg, Harz, Germany. Width of image 15 mm. (© Volker Betz) - Morphology: Commonly as interpenetrating twins in groups or radiating aggregates. Twins repeated on {001}, {021}, {110}, may simulate a pseudotetragonal prism or a dodecahedron.

3.7 Goosecreekite (Hydrated Calcium Aluminum Silicate) - Nestled in a bed of drusy quartz, sits an egg-shaped, crystalline mineral with the quirky name of Goosecreekite. Perched atop are two translucent Heulandite. Despite its clever name, Goosecreekite is extremely rare.

3.7 Goosecreekite - http://www.galleries.com/minerals/silicate/goosecre/goosecre.jpg - Goosecreekite is one of the rarer zeolites and one of the most unusually named minerals in the world. It is named after the quarry from where it was first described, Luck Goose Creek Quarry in Loudon Co., Virginia. It forms irregular aggregates and prismatic crystals that are found in the vesicles or bubbles of volcanic rock as are most other zeolites. Goosecreekite is a rare mineral.
