Ginger Turmeric Tea: ½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger, ½ tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp-1 Tbsp local, raw honey (optional). Bring 2 cups of water to boil. In a small teapot, or a quart-sized Mason jar combine the ginger and turmeric. Pour the water over the herbs. Cover the teapot or jar. Steep for 1 minute. Strain into two tea cups. Serve with the optional honey, added to taste.
