Brittany Bacharach on Instagram: "I love a simple set up, especially if it’s one that’s still super engaging and full of learning and play! This preschool STEM sensory activity is just that! When you set up 2 bins of water and give your preschooler some sponges (we have clean sponges just for sensory play), they have the opportunity to experiment with sponges and transferring water. Extra idea is to add silicone cupcake liners and they can see how/if they can sink the liners using water! Extra ideas: add bubbles or a drop of food coloring for extra fun! Save this idea to try and follow us for more preschool STEM ideas. #sensoryplayideas #preschoolstem #stemactivities" Sponges For Water Play, Water Sensory Activities, Water Play Activities, Silicone Cupcake Liners, Preschool Stem, Water Games For Kids, Stem Ideas, Sensory Activity, Water Play

What kid doesn't LOVE playing in the sand. Well I have a confession...I kind of hate sandboxes. And yes we have one in our backyard, but I'm a bit OCD and there's something about sand that drives me insane. I mean it gets eve-ry-where! My littlest is at the prime sand eating and throwing age

KAYLA | Life with Little Loves on Instagram: "Throw in some cornflour next time you do water play and you’ve got magic water 😉 I mentioned mathematical skills in the reel but there are so many more reasons why water play is magic for eaelt years development both physically and cognitively. As with all sensory play, fine and gross motor skills are best developed through play. Then there is all the vocabulary building happening, which is a benefit I really notice with my own children in play, the way they begin to describe what they’re doing, seeing, feeling etc. So many more, too many to list in a reel caption 😉 Because I always get asked, this tray is from @kmartaus . . . #sensoryplay #waterplay #earlyyearsideas #earlyyearslearning #finemotorskills #playislearning #playathome #easyp Water Play Activity For Preschool, Water Play Indoors, Reggio Emilia Water Activities, Sensory Physical Activities, Fun Dramatic Play Ideas, Water Messy Play, Indoor Water Play For Toddlers, Water Activity For Toddlers, Messy Play Party
