Pod racing star wars

I always wanted to create my own Star Wars Podracer Design. Finally here's a Fanart that I started last year and managed to finish now. Enjoy!

PODRACER / Racing vehicle DESCRIPTION: was a repulsorlift racing vehicle piloted during Podraces across the galaxy, though specifically in the lawless Outer Rim Territories. The term "Podracer" was also used in reference to a being who piloted the racers. A Podracer, or "pod," was essentially a one-pilot cockpit attached to two racing engines via strong cables, such as those produced by Steelton. The special engines for these craft traditionally came in 1of 2 varieties of mechanical action.

Pod Racing scene was the best in Star Wars episode I (for me that is)

Star Wars Kinect - Microsoft Studios - Xbox 360 Collaborated with designers and concept artists to design and white box 5 epic levels - tracks based in the Star Wars universe. Lead 3 levels/tracks and had to manage, integrate, collision and bug fix them as well as provide general art support. Created a pod racer (vehicle) that was the basis and standard for the other 20+ pod racers to be done by outsourcing

I present you a pod racer made for a huge project : A Star Wars pod racing in 360° VR. This pod is inspired from the Mars Guo's pod and Sebulba's pod. It's a low poly model. The modelisation have been made by Mark Burge, Burningham Studios and Georges Mezori. I slightly modified the modelisation in Blender and created textures in Substance Painter.
