I found my large canvas for 50% off at Joann’s, but you can also look at other craft stores or online. You can find the joint compound and dry wall tools at your local hardware store if you don’t already own some like me.

Fine Art by Alicja on Instagram: "Details ⤵️  🖼 1. Mold preparation   To protect molds from destroying I apply tiny layer of oil. It also helps to remove frame after drying.  🖼 2. Material preparation   You can use resin or plaster. It is very important to mix the ingredients in the right proportions. I use high strength plaster of paris and for 350g of plaster I need 50ml of water.  🖼 3. Filling the molds  It is important to fill all the tiny holes in the mold.  🖼 4. Drying process  Before removing frame from the mold I need to wait at least 1h.  🖼 5. Removing frames from the molds  Do it slowly and cerfully to not destroy the mold.  My frames arw dry completely after 3 days and then I can paint them with metallic gold paint and aging patina.
