June 2009. I don`t believe any of the early 1950s Raleigh bicycles came with the Prestube Minor rear racks but I like how they look. To me they look original since they "did" come "stock" from the factory on some of the 1960s and early 1970s Raleigh bicycles painted to match the frame and fenders. From the Japanese publication "Special Made Cycle" (c.2000) Bicycle produced around 1990. I had assumed the components were primarily French, but someone pointed out that is not correct [ Thanks Kurt, good eyes! ]. Looking more closely, it certainly does seem the bike was built up with a rather broad mix of International components.
