In the spotlight

Before social media, the spotlight was usually on celebrities. Now anyone with access to different platforms can be in the center of attention. Therefore, many people try to create as positive an image as possible. But what do you see outside the spotlight?

This is a very good example of the spotlighting I would like to use during the shooting scene at the end of the first act. It creates an ominous feel and I feel like it would be perfect to help depictthe seriousness of gun violence and the climax of the production.

Act 3 Scene 2: I chose this lighting because the figure here is very much in the spotlight, but we still cannot see their face and we have no idea who they are. Much like, in this scene, Prior and Harper are talking to each other and almost remember who each other are--but can't.

Spot: This is a good example of how intensity can isolate a person or object. This is an extreme example, as no other lights are on.
