Hummingbird card

This week's Color Throwdown combo gave me the perfect excuse to try out some new-to-me dies and inks. Love this vivid combo, so tropical and summery. Here's my card: As I wanted the bird to be the focal point, I chose embossing rather than stamping for the flowers. For the same reason I stamped the sentiment directly on the card in a light colour, rather than raising it on a separate piece of card.
