Cute art styles sketch book

My name is Gabriela Niko. I am a freelance illustrator and sketchbook artist, based in Poland. The main topic of my work is people - their beauty and the subtle emotions expressed in their faces. I create both traditionally and digitally, but the sketchbook is my favorite and most important tool for everyday studies, development, and experiments with art. This is where I can explore different mediums and styles in a quick, fresh, and playful way.

I carry a notebook with me everywhere I go. I especially love how a notebook develops a patina as it wears and is used. After years of being unable to get myself to use a notebook for anything, I finally realized it was because I was trying to make a notebook perfect.

Safe to say that the life we live is rather complicated. Very few things are just “good” or just “bad” as we’re constantly exploring the grey area with all the different circumstances. Anton Gudim is an artist who’s great at noticing little ironic everyday situations and illustrating them in a “yes, but” format. We’re pretty sure you have experienced at least one of them.
