My 3 year-old son wanted to be a toddler school bus costume for Halloween. However, with a limited budget I had to get creative. Happily, my son loved it!

I was inspired to create some sort of a toy for Zac out of this big box we got in the mail the other week.... but I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Then it finally dawned on me that I could paint it bright yellow, cut out some windows, and pretend it's a school bus. But, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I made this shoe box school bus by covering a shoe box in paper, painting it and adding cardboard tubes for wheels. Lots of school bus fun!
