Juicy Luce on Instagram: "Sewing myself a patchwork dress !!

As you can tell, this project was very much a bit chaotic and unplanned - but the best projects always are !! 🫵🏻

My favourite part is easily those side seams and how I managed to get the prints to match despite have different patchwork blocks on the front and back - I think trying to achieve that took about five years off of my life expectancy so pls admire them for me !! 🫡

Made out of pure linens, this piece has quickly become a summer staple of mine ! I’ve mostly worn it on its own with some doc sandals, but I’m also really looking forward to layering the dress with other pieces when we move into autumn (statement collar blouse underneath me thinks 🤔💭).

FROM CARLY B on Instagram: "How to make (the BEST) peg apron! (Beginner sewing project) I used about 50cm of cotton canvas & 3ply red acrylic yarn for the decorative stitches. You can use whatever fabric you like - it would be great for scrap usage/patchwork. My peg bag dimensions were about 13” x 18” cut on fold. Pockets were cut 5” down the side seams. Waistband was 70” long or so. All customisable measurements! Easy to sew & the project whips up in under an hour.
