I had been working myself up over last weekend’s project that I mentioned in the Marshmallow Fondon't post. This was a baby shower with an airplane theme for a baby boy to be named Skylar. To die for, right? My friend asked me to make airplane sugar cookie lollipops as well as “sky” themed cupcakes. After playing with so many ideas for cloud decorations, I finally came up with homemade piping marshmallow to make into free form cloud shapes because who wants to eat hardened gum paste or box…

Disney Planes "dusty" cupcake cake I made for a special 1 year old!

These are made with 24 cupcakes, iced together or separately for a cake that is easier to share and easy for kids to take seconds without handling any knives! It's also fun because I can make them into just about any shape. He wanted an airplane, so he got an airplane! I think it is fun to have a big cupcake decorated just for the birthday boy/girl. It's just a little more special. Legos!

For a 1st Birthday Party, theme requested was "planes" in particular the Qantas Plane. Instead I placed a number "1" where the kangaroo should be. All planes are edible.
