A Wrinkle In Time - set design by Misha Katchman. This scenic design is about color. The orange and blues with the spots of white make it feel galactic and like you're in outer space. The blue and orange are complementary colors so they work well together and make each other stand out. There is a little bit of texture as well. There are swirls and engraving on the spiral object so it is very texturized.
JAMES MASON (1909-1984). Suave British actor with a one-of-a-kind voice. One of my all-time favorite movie stars. Legendary in films like Lolita, Odd Man Out, Five Fingers, The Desert Fox, The Verdict, and so many others. As they say, they don't make 'em like that anymore.
Classic retro! This house represents 1950s housing in Columbia, S.C., but it is an extraordinary example – still furnished with original fixtures such as built-ins and lighting. Photo by C. Aluka Berry/The State

Juliet Hulme, 15, and Pauline Parker, 16, were two friends who killed Pauline's mother Honorah because they believed she would force them apart by not letting her daughter join Juliet, who was leaving the country with her parents. On the afternoon of June 22, 1954, the girls lured Honorah to Victoria Park in Christchurch's Port Hills, under the pretence of a walk. Down a secluded path, they bashed her to death by hitting her more than 20 times with a half-brick inside a stocking.
