These are the real deal. They are made with a great yeast-raised dough, which is chopped together with cooked apple chunks and perfectly speckled with cinnamon. The glaze adds a thin layer of sweetness and makes these beautiful donuts sparkle.
***Made this 2/25/13. It was FABULOUS! Great directions. Don't think that you can skip the water part in cooking. I used a spray bottle. And I cut into 16 pieces. Don't roll too thin. About the size of a large skillet. I used cast iron. Rolled ground garlic/salt into one side. And I used the bread maker on dough setting! Perfect!
