Honeycomb stitch
Did you know that the honeycomb has its very own stitch, appropriately named the Honeycomb Stitch? I have a full honeycomb stitch tutorial on my blog AND my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/aj0wfhP2O_Y Create a row made with the blanket stitch, or use straight stitches to get this fun embroidery stitch started. It’s probably a bit more on the intermediate level but, you can learn it pretty quickly. If you’re trying to stitch a honeycomb design this embroidery stitch will save you time and make it simpler to get more uniform hexagons! • Find my step-by-step embroidery stitch tutorial at: https://bellasavoy.com/stitch/honeycomb-stitch-tutorial • Video tutorial included

my favorite super simple, beginner-friend, no-glue, no-sew way to back (finish) my embroidery hoops
Before you start stitching, start by tracing the inside portion of your hoop onto a scrap piece of cardboard. You can also use archival mat board, if you prefer that over cardboard scraps! I'll sometimes use the backing material to sign my projects, or to help me keep track of when I stitched them! But sometimes, I don't!
