10,000 BC (2008). A prehistoric mammoth hunter goes on an anachronistic journey from mountain to forest to what might be the Nile Valley, to rescue enslaved members of his tribe. The specificity of the title hurts the film because of the expectations it sets up - there is no attempt at historical accuracy whatsoever, only a brisk run through the heroic journey formula.
