Introducing our newest team member: Hebah Nijem! Hebah is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of North Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from the University of North Florida. During this time, her passion for working with children was nurtured through her role as a personal nanny. It was through this experience that she felt called to pursue a career dedicated to supporting young individuals in navigating emotional challenges. Hebah is working toward becoming a registered play therapist, with a strong focus on non-directive, child-centered practices and synergetic play therapy. a peek into our cozy cottage💛 each year the space transforms & changes into a space I love more & more. so far every class I’ve had (this is my 8th) has had its own unique room—there is always something different or rearranged. I think it’s pretty special that their room is only theirs🏡 something that I’m pretty proud of this year is that I created all of the classroom posters & signs by myself- eventually I’ll sell them on @teacherspayteachers as a decor-pack when I get my life together🙃 ...
