With less than 20,000 left in the wild, lions are fighting disease, loss of habitat, changing habitat from climate change, and poaching for trade in their parts. But perhaps most egregiously, on top of all these threats, wealthy hunters from abroad -- mostly from America -- travel to Africa for the "thrill" of slaying a wild lion and bringing their kill home as a trophy.
So..... this is me in the morning before coffee. Jake can attest to this. It might be the reason why when I rolled out of bed this morning the first thing he said wasn't "Good morning" or "I love you" it was "I got you coffee." :) My husband knows me so well!
