Where is Bora Bora? - They call this island "The Pearl Of The Pacific" and it's located in French Polynesia. It's also part of an island chain called the Society Islands. Bora Bora is located about 160 miles northwest of Tahiti and approximately 2,600 miles south of Hawaii. The island was discovered in 1722 by James Cook.
