Even discarded keys and coins can be turned into beautiful art with some creativity and the right sort of know-how. Michael (or Moerkey), an artist in Australia, does exactly that, turning discarded keys and coins into bottles, lampshades and other beautiful recycled metal sculptures.
Mirror Sculptures Working alongside sculptor/illustrator Arran Gregory, the core sculpture was hand crafted by the artist at his studio and then each acrylic mirror tile laser-cut to fit within it's precise dimensions.
Japanese photographer Yuichi Ikehata creates realistic sculptures of human body parts using clay, wire and paper. He then photographs the sculptures and merges them into unrealistic worlds to create Long Term Memory (LTM), an ongoing photographic series that “puts audiences in the ambivalent position of not knowing what is real and what is not.”
