Introducing Vocabulary

Using a strategy called My Turn, Your Turn, it can be easier to introduce new vocabulary words. Exposing the words in multiple contexts allows for them to stick better.

Vocabulary morning work will be perfect for my 5th grade class this year. We always struggle to find enough time to build vocabulary and still cover all the material. This will save me a TON of time because the kids can do it for those 15 minutes during announcements. Love that it is based on Marzano's work with vocabulary instruction.
