I created this anchor chart yesterday. My students really enjoyed making their own story "movies" in their minds. They even stated they liked their mental images better than the actual book's illustrations!

Imaging/Visualizing Anchor Chart- I really like how this chart mentions all of the senses. Sometimes as readers we can forget to use all of our senses and rely on our vision, or to a lesser degree our hearing when we mentally picture the text. This chart helps to remind students to use ALL of their sense to create that mental visual.

This would be a great classroom chart to have up as a model for students based off of an Interactive Read Aloud that you've done with the whole class. Students could then try this method out in their independent reading.
