High Victorian Style. The parlour furniture, the pictures on the wall, the wallpaper, even the rug exudes that lush Victorian style of the mid nineteenth century. The windows' shutters are obviously original to the house dating probably to around 1860. We at DeVenco are able to replicate this original classic design known as Brownstone Shutters.
Have you noticed that your #shutters have become discoloured and developed a chalky residue? This is known as oxidisation and is caused by sun exposure. Unfortunately, it can affect almost any material (including plastic, car paint and metals) and will cause the surface to become dry and chalky. Photo Credit: shutterlyfabulous
