A Victorian suit dress for a character in a Sherlock Holmes high school play. I used the Simplicity 4156 pattern. the pattern was originally a 1895 dress with the leg o’ mutton sleeves, but I changed the sleeves to give it an earlier feel of about 1890.The blue fabric is a drapery fabric and I recycled the cream fabric from a man’s button down shirt. The front closes with hooks and eyes and snaps at the collar. It also has about 10 pieces of boning throughout the top, sewn inside the lining.
Versailles classic is reimagined in this elegant curtain set with gold silky borcade fabric. You will love how gracefully the light bounces off the divinely hand tailored curvaceous swag, and how nicely the red fringes along the swags and tails, and red tassels hanging on the hand-stitched fabric buttons, complete the the overall design. customize, designer, draperies, drapery, elegant, embroidery, fringes, gold, jabots, luxury, valance, victorian, window treatment, yellow, red, ready made,
