More correctly, it's "unless a Democrat is president". Whether he is a traitor or not is not for you or me to judge, but for the military justice system to determine. The GOP has gutted veterans benefits with a cut in veterans pay, would not support a jobs bill for vets, would not help out homeless vets, and other programs for vets !! A more serious national threat to our Democracy and that is the government take-over of selfish, greedy plutocrats; namely the corporate-funded GOP.
