When our basement flooded we had to throw out the couches we had down there. I didn't want to just throw another couch down there, so here is what I did :  - bought 3 twin mattress/boxspring sets - added some slip covers made out of cotton blankets from Target - upholstered the box springs with the left over fabric and a staple gun  - threw in a bunch of extra pillows. I love how they turned out and I hear they sleep a lot better than a couch!
