The British designer breathes new life into salvaged midcentury modern furniture with bold and colorful designs inspired by her seaside hometown Margate, Kent. The whimsical and ‘50s-inspired retro prints promotes Murphy’s idea of “loving what belongs to you.”

- 2 coats of French Linen, 1 coat of watered down Old White, lightly distressed so that it looked natural. Mixed 3 spoonfuls of clear wax, 2 spoonfuls of dark wax, and 1 tablespoon of French Linen paint, and mixed it together and started applying. After the wax dried, clear wax was applied to remove any unwanted dark wax mixture by rubbing it with a rag.
