I know it's felt awkward and scary so I just wanted to remind you that as you understand yourself better, you will be less distracted by yourself. And that is a very good thing. After all CS Lewis did say "humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less." When you think of yourself less you can think of others more.
