There are some really really gorgeous places here! Again, we're obviously probably not going to want to go everywhere here, but so many of these places look amazing I'm really interested in seeing both the cities and some of the nature
Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas is the only diamond-producing site in the world open to the public. The park allows visitors to dig for diamonds and, unlike most public mining sites, has the policy “finders, keepers.”
Eureka Springs Arkansas--gorgeous little authentic Victorian town that grew up around mineral springs....still lots of spas and massage places and haunted hotels. It is home to the outdoor passion play and the huge Christ of the Ozarks statue. A great get-away to the Ozark Mountains. And Branson, Missouri is a day trip from here!
Nebo Falls, Mt Nebo State Park, Dardanelle, Arkansas. From Russellville: South on hwy 7 towards Dardanelle, left on Hwy 155 and climb to top of Mt Nebo. Left at stop sign, right at next stop sign, park at Gum Springs Trail. Waterfall is approx 100 yards down this trail.
