Antiretrovirals This is the main type of treatment for HIV or AIDS. It is not a cure, but it can stop people from becoming ill for many years. The treatment consists of drugs that have to be taken every day for the rest of someone’s life.

We had a really interesting discussion about HIV/AIDS, treatment for HIV, and perceptions of those who are HIV positive, among other things, after the monthly movie, Dallas Buyers Club. It is definitely worth a watch at some point even if you weren't able to make it to the screening with the UMSA.
