Stages of Readiness for Behavioral Changes in Individuals with Heart Failure---This study uses the trans-theoretical model as its basis for assessing the readiness of participants to be willing to change their lifestyle having been diagnosed with heart failure. The lifestyle changes addressed included giving up smoking, weight loss, and decreasing sodium intake. Overall, the results show that what individuals report and what they actual experience as far as readiness varies.
