Hurricane Hermine generated a massive "water spout" at Avalon Pier in Outer Banks, North Carolina!

This is the picture that struck me the most in the after math of Joplin's tornado. I just can't get over how wood can pierce through cement b/c the force on the tornado is so powerful.
