Living a Life of Purity in an Impure World

Everyone has areas we hold on to – dark corners of our life that we try to keep hidden. A pure heart, however, is one that has been given completely to God.

The troubles of this world love will weigh you down, but when we look up at our tender hearted Savior then we will find peace:)

Praise God that this is true! This world and Satan my torment me and take all that I love away but it can never destroy me because the grave is only the beginning. - LMP

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them." —Hebrews 13:8–9 #ScriptureSaturday #Hebrews #GodsWord #Scripture #Jesus #Christ

John Charles Ryle (10 May 1816 – 10 June 1900) was the first Anglican bishop of Liverpool. “From his conversion [in 1837] to his burial [in 1900], J.C. Ryle was entirely one-dimensional. He was a one-book man; he was steeped in Scripture; he bled the Bible. “This is WHY his works have lasted—and will last—they bear the stamp of eternity. Today, more than a hundred years after his passing, Ryle’s works stand at the crossroads between the historic faith and modern evangelicalism."
