The Stepford Wives (2004) After moving to the beautiful suburb of Stepford with her husband (Matthew Broderick), career-driven Joanna (Nicole Kidman) begins to suspect something is radically wrong with the other wives, who are led by the perky and vacant Claire (Glenn Close). Anna Hill Johnstone's costume designs in The Stepford Wives (1975). I liked the blend of Victorian and 70s fashion that the Stepford wives donned. But I also liked Joanna and Bobby's pre-robot style. I'm a huge fan of palazzo pants, and peasant blouses. I also liked Bobby's long and short jean jumpers.
