At the beginning of the school year your students come at all different levels of writing development. We have made Week 1 practices prewriting skills. Week 2 practices writing the most important word – their name. Week 3 practices writing a friend’s name. Week 4 looks closer at the word parts and letters in their names. We have created .these Daily Writing in Kindergarten booklets to encourage independent writing everyday.
5.1 Students will use the scientific method in an experiment with M&Ms or Skittles in water and other liquids. They will make a hypothesis, identify the independent and dependent variables, and collect data to make a conclusion.
