This is a fun way to extend the Art curriculum outdoors. Make containers of branches and stones available. The children can then use them to create a surface for painting. Let the children paint directly onto the snow with brushes. Encourage children to clean up by returning the sticks/stones and flipping the snow over with a shovel, then smoothing it over.
