This was the first Dave Clark hit I remember and may have been their first. Truth be told, I liked the DC5 better then the Beatles, never mind Lennon and McCarthy were superior song writers. I think it was Denny Payton's sax and Mike Smith's organ and gravelly vocals I liked. That gave the band a more R & B feel.
