Here is a SUPER fun way to practice all of the Pre-Primer Sight Words on the Dolch list! The smart phones are used to find the texting codes for the sight words! Searching for the number codes in each letter of a sight word will also help kids learn to spell their sight words!
Life Cycle of a Monarch Butterfly: Text Coding, Note Taking, and Writing Unit
You will teach each part of the Monarch’s life cycle by reading, text coding, and taking notes. During each lesson you will model text coding, and note taking. Students will have a chance to practice the modeled strategy with a partner and independently. Finally, students will use their notes to write about the life cycle of a Monarch.
