In 2010 Tesco launched a service called “Click and Collect” which earns them a spot in the Purple Goldfish Project at #1023. The service allows customers to order online, select a time window for pickup and retrieve their groceries at a defined collection center.
Tesco introduces electronic terminals in their stores for F&F customers to order items which they can't pick up there and then. A great way to introduce the digital side to customers who wouldn't necessarily visit the website. The terminals have proved successful in increasing the % of retail customers ordering online.
