The 366 athletes in Rio will walk out on Sunday night with red, white and blue lights built-in to the soles of their shoes.

Nicola Adams is a home-grown hero, having made Olympic history by becoming the first Team GB gold medalist in women's boxing. 2012 was the first year the sport was represented in the Olympic Games, and 29-year-old Nicola from Leeds brought home the glory in the flyweight final. An inspiration to women in sport everywhere!
