Keep guided reading groups straight by labeling boxes with coordinating duct tape to match students' folders! Or writing folders

folders and journals for writing workshop

I like the idea of using folders and journals for writing workshop and keeping them in a special spot. - maybe separations by groups?

Take Home Folder. Love this idea for setting up routines for the beginning of the school year! Would be great for speech homework and additional parent communication!

if we don't get cubbies for next year, something like this for sign papers would be a space saver. it could go on the closet doors or on the wall behind my desk.

Absent Student Folders. This would be a real time saver if a responsible student was given this folder to fill for an absent student. Then he/she could give it back to the teacher at the end of the day. Done!

Building a House of Love: Absent Student Folders - perfect classroom job! For my teacher friends.

I think that next year, my students are going to each have a binder, housed in a milk crate. They'll put it back in the crate each afternoon and pick it up in the morning! No more lost work!
