Stevie Wonder "Stay Gold" from "The Outsiders" - I saw this movie THREE times as a 15 year old .. even took my Dad's tape recorder to the cinema to record this song. Played that damned cassette every night! THAT's committment! :-)

▶ Stay Gold (Alternate Version) - Stevie Wonder. From the 1983 movie The Outsiders. There's so much to be said about it. Matt Dillon was an established dramatic actor as was Diane Lane. Leif Garrett's career was fading. Tom Cruise had just become a star and yet spoke about five lines of dialogue. His time would come of course. And pretty much everyone else was an up-and-comer. Personally I got into this movie when it hit cable television in the spring of 1984. :)
