Kitchen Island Table. We've had this for a few years and this is where everyone usually hangs out. We seldom use our dining room. The table is an 8 foot stainless steel restaurant prep table on wheels. We covered the bottom with basket weave leather. The chairs are commercial grade LEM Piston Stools. The light we had made and it goes great with the space.
Admired recently in the New York Times: this low-cost kitchen in a 250-square-foot converted garage in Seattle, designed and built by artist and designer Michelle de la Vega using a mix of new elements and reclaimed materials from local salvage yards. Great for a guest house.
