Brave New World Art Print

Just finished reading this. Tis uncannily remeniscent of society today, though it was written in the early 1930s.

1.This is the brave new word. It was a time peirod in the future where everything is perfect. It is where everyone is happy, young and works only seven hour shifts everyday. The twist in the book is when Bernard brings home a savage form his trip with Lenina from mexico.

I'm gonna put this here instead of under "Quotes" because Aldous Huxley changed my life forever. I'd love to discuss "Brave New World," and society as a whole, with him.

Brave New World - a book by Aldous Huxley, published in 1932 - set in the distant future where people are cloned and have their i.q and destiny pre determined by the totalitarian (love that word) state.

Aldous Huxley's Brave New World -- From iMDB: "In a future society based on pleasure without moral worries, love is prohibited but casual sex, now called 'engaging', is strongly encouraged. Everyone is kept happy with a legal drug, soma. People are hatched and cloned on conveyor belts to meet the requirements of five different social classes, from ruling Alphas to robot-like Epsilons."
