Creating my dry erase table for Math Workshop! I recently turned my front table into a white board table that my 6th grade math students can use during math workshop. This blog post talks about the process of turning my table into a giant work space!
Are your students forgetting your routines or asking a zillion questions? Mine were! Until I tried this... Question Board! Classroom management for too many questions (Free- consider it a gift from my sanity to yours ;) )
You can make mini-whiteboards out of white card stock and a laminator for a fraction of the cost of the usual individual mini-whiteboards. Use these before, during, and after teaching as an informal assessment tool. These work great for whole class assessment (to get a quick idea of who understands and who needs more time) or for small group assessment.
