Bamboo thrives in the bathroom. Lucky bamboo needs very little light and should be placed in low, indirect light. It doesn’t even need any soil – simply pop the stalk into a container filled with pebbles and water. Change the water every two to four weeks. Be warned that this is a fast growing plant, but you can curtail its growth by providing a physical barrier (such as a recessed shelf) or by shaping it regularly.
Natural Materials - slate shower, glass door, stone floor. I could live with this! "Natural materials can add a masculine, earthy feel to baths. Here, dark slate flooring makes the crisp white tub and sink (not shown) pop. River stones are used in the shower and as a border around the freestanding tub to designate wet floor space."
