All About Triangle Shapes

*FREE* All About Triangles: Learn all about the shape triangle in this math printable worksheet. Practice tracing, drawing, coloring pictures of triangles, writing the number of sides and corners.

My use of a great technique making half square triangle unites from strip pieced squares. Strip piece two squares, turn one square so that it has strips horizontally, the other should be vertical. Put right sides together. Stitch all around the perimeter at 1/4" for seam allowance, then cut on the diagonals from corner to corner both ways. You will have 4 units. Press open and turn so the smallest section is in the middle and stitch as a four block. Voila!

Spanakopita Triangles

Spanikopita: my go to appetizer and favorite dinner entre. For dinner you can make it in a pie tin- layer the philo so it drapes over the edges, and make it more like a lasanga- place a player ontop and crinkle over the tops. I have fun decorating it- and of course don't forget the butter!

Holiday examples of a Triangle Treat Holder (can hold up to 4 Hershey Kisses). Cut your cardstock or patterned paper at 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Parallel to the short side, score at 1-1/2", 3" and 4-1/2". Wrap shortest length to the front and trim with scallop edge. Mini Glue Dots are excellent for holding kisses in place! If you don't want the holder ripped apart, you can tie it closed with ribbon, or use a velcro dot.
